VIP protocols have right of way

I was on my way to Jinnah hospital today to get my son treated. On the road leading to Jinnah, I found myself getting tailgated, flashed and honked by a government-plate SUV brandishing a PPP flag. It was followed by a police escort behind it. The guy was driving like he needed to be somewhere fast.

I needed to get my son to Jinnah fast as well so I didn't give him the way. He veered into the wrong side and overtook me, the police escort vehicle tried to do the same and hit the metal barrier instead. The police then pulled up besides me to inform me how much of a jahil I am. I replied saying that taking my son is more important than your VIP, and that he should probably learn how to drive. He says no, I need to give way to protocol cars. Lucky for me, he had to follow his masters so he just sped on.

I can feel what you went through but sadly this is how it works here in this country.

The reason for all this is, people do not stand up for their rights because most are uneducated and are bullied and beaten like a herd of sheep.

As for the these police cars following their masters in black SUVs, well its their duty. They are paid for it.
