Visit of Gilgit after Eid

Dear Fellows,

I am planning to visit Gilgit, I am planning to be there by air due to my aged mother, my questions are:

1. which hotels (3 star) recommended in Gilgit
2. which places near gilgit a must see (maximum 2 hour drive)
3. can i have a self drive jeep in gilgit?

2. Kargah Nala (1 hr), Naltar (2.5 hrs) , Hunza (2 hrs)

why stay in Gilgit.. hire a jeep or a taxi from airport and stay in Hunza
