Visit to Murree In December school holidays.Need suggestions

Salam all friends,
I have visited murree last year in June 2012 and once in July 2006.
I always visits there in summer seasons.
Now i thought to go in winter seasons.
Please note i will go with my wife and three kids ages 13,11,9.
Please suggest and reply me following,Thanks
1-Is is suitable to visit murree in December with family"?will children and female will tolerate the cold weather?
2-I think that there will cheap rates of hotels and taxis in december as compared to summer months,am i correct?
3-How much rush in murree in december as compared to summer season?
4-Will markets open in december till late nights just like summer season?
5-What will be the fun at murree in december for family and children?
please reply in detail if possible,thanks in advance.
also give any more suggestions if possible.

Yes by using proper warm & waterproof clothes ( assuming no one has allergy etc. )

In snow rush increase so do the rates. It becomes expensive with respect to the number of visitors there.
3-How much rush in murree in december as compared to summer season?
In holidays it is packed.
4-Will markets open in december till late nights just like summer season?
Yes
5-What will be the fun at murree in december for family and children?
It depends upon you & your family's interest. You won't be able to go to ayubia, nathia gali, thandiani etc. in car/taxi, you would have to hire jeep. and you can easily access pathriata.

Ans. Yes, off course, travelling expenses are variable in murree during load shedding of CNG Cars and Jeeps are very costly and otherwise rates are very normal, (i think three days a week load shedding of CNG in Murree)

Ans. On weekend (Saturday & Sunday) you can see a large gathering in murree.

Ans. Yes, i think all the year markets are open till id night

Ans. Yes off course, butt if you want to enjoy you have to go to nathia gali, bandar point, patriata, ayubia hwere you can certainly feel enjoyment

Ans. Yes in this regard i am agree with brother Zia (please keep warm cloth specially for kidz)

In case of snowfall spell, the rush get increase in Murree. Also in snowfall, you may find traffic jams, road blocks due to snow.

Snowfall itself is a great fun. One of lifetime experience. Get weather update before leaving to catch the snowfall.

Let me give some reason of my doubt that will children tolerate the weather"
In last year 7th of June 2012 i visted Naran,kagan,sogrhan,lahore,islamabd,murree.At all spots whole family enjoyed well especially very happy at murree and stayed 8 days in Murree.
In my plan Naran stay was for 3 or 4 days.But the weather is very cold there.And my wife and one son get ill and tell me to go early from here and i changed the plan and just stayed two nights and one day at Naran.same day visit saiful malook,sri paya,lala zar. I then increased my stay to Muree and Islamabad.
I do not know the weather condition or type of cold at murree in december season.And i am not going any where else at this time.

The main difference is that, in winter we are prepared with warm clothes, but usually people are not prepared for cool/cold weather in hilly areas in summers and difference of temperature definitely affect which is you can say from 45 to 20 C in day and 35 to 10 C in nights as compare to plains.

To me December is the worst month to go to Murree. There is usually no/very less snowfall in December and the weather is very cold. To me it is better to visit in January when there will be definite snow on the mountains and if you are lucky you could get snowfall as well. Also keep in mind that during snowfall it is highly advisable to not take your own vehicle to Murree.
