We left at 8:30 in the morning, it was a good morning of 31/1/2/2017 (Last day of year). Intention was to see the nature with its beauty and preparing for next year expeditions.
It is single road for two way traffic all the way. Heavy transport is there... very dangerous to drive .. as most of the drivers are illiterate to follow the rules. You have to avoid any of your mistake and escape from others mistake as well.
Traffic was low in the morning one of the reason may be as it was Sunday (Off day for offices and schools).
When we took turn towards the #Thandiani from #NathiaGali Road, it was disappointed at start, as there were several Crush machines working to crush the mountains, lot of dust, big vehicles which were carrying sand and concrete from these plants. They are really ruining the beauty of nature, i dont know why government is silent with closed eyes as they are losing one of the best beautiful area by the hands of these crushers. They could be allotted some other infamous hills/mountains to crush.. but on the way to a beautiful tourist point , no way .. it should not be there.
After crossing this dusty area of 2-3 Kilo meters, we took breath in pleasant and clean environment. The whole way onward was full of scenery and every inch was worth to see, all praise to Allah... it was reminding me the beauty of creature and his power. He is the ONE who really deserve worship....
Snow started showing just before 10KM of Thandiani, both sides of road were filled by snow the beautiful and peaceful white color was so cool and it was enriching the soul.
We reached at #Thandiani Top around 12:30, we stopped several times on the way to capture the photos so it took bit longer as expected. Otherwise one can reach in three hours.
We spent 3 hours there at the top (sharing some pictues and video as well.) and enjoyed reall Crispy Pakoras and Tea. They charged us Rs.100 for Pakoras (Weighing around 400 grams) and Rs. 80 for Tea.
We left at 3:30 , way to NathiaGali road was without traffic, soon we entered into NathiaGali roads leading towards #Abbotablad we experience a very high traffic we could not run our bike more than 10KM per hour, once we left the main city of
3Abbotabad then we enabled to run at 60-80KM per hour.
Again we stuck in Haripur due to traffice jam as PTI rally was passing through.
by the grace of Allah we reached back at 6:30pm to home, praying to Allah for such a good ending day of 2017 and expectations for good start of new year 2018.
A very peaceful place full of beauty... i highly recommend to families to visit this place instead of Murree... Murree is over crowded ....
