Visiting Babusartop with a baby

I am planning to Visit Babusartop with my family and 2 infant babies (6/7 months). I have been to babusar top many times but not with a baby. Is it safe for infants? Considering the low oxygen levels.

no it is not advised to visit such elevations with suckling babies / nursing mothers.

Generally it's not advisable but not because infants don't have mature lungs..the lungs get mature at term (38-39 wks of gestation)..it's just that ARIs (acute respiratory tract infections) and pneumonia in newborns and infants can progress very quickly to something very serious in a very short amount of time.

And remote travel destinations usually don't have the best of healthcare facilities unfortunately.

Having said that, we did travel once with a baby onboard to Naran and lake Saif ul Malook many years ago without any issues for the baby or the mother. So it is doable but the parents just have to be extra careful.

I Visited Babusar Top and Khunjarab in 2017 with 7 month old Infant and 3 year old toddler. there was no issue at all except vomit 1 time

3 and 7-year-old infant is fine, but 6 month baby is another thing. It's not advisable to visit such a place with babies.

Oh okay. Glad there was no issue. But I still strongly believe it's better to avoid such high altitude places with infants.
