According to last info the deosai is about to open but you can confirm this at Skurdu too before moving.

according to my info DEOSAI is not yet open...it is expected to open on or after 22 nd of june...a PTDC official told me that it will open in the first week of july...if u have any latest news about DEOSAI so kindly share with us please...

A lot of budget friendly and reasonable hotels. Even bed for rent for Rs. 100 is also available in Skardu.

bro i'm going solo .. my plan is first trek to fairy meadows and then to nanga parbat base camp and then comeback to raikot and off to gilgit via chillas ..from there to deosai plains
