1.i removed only the front cat because the rear cat doesnt make that much of a difference in engine performance.
2.Yes the exhaust noise has increased a little at high Revs only but doesnt bother me much...ther is a solution but i havent done it till now that if i get a back pressure creating exhaust system installed along with a sports muffler ...then the noise will go away....keep in mind that its the exhaust system noise only and not ENGINE noise...engine is smoother then ever.
3. My cars mileage is a challenge for everyone,
things to remember....new plugs, new fuel filter,new air filter, good battery(to minimize start up fuel consumption), n most important CORRECT INFLATION OF TYRES ( front 28, rear30 )
mileage is as follows
one full tank is 42 litres n fill up at last bar is of 38 to 39 litres which gives me
600-610 km local (without AC)
650-680 km highway(without AC)
500-510 km local (with AC) might go to 550 depending on speed and revs at which driven
550-560 km highway (with AC) might go to 600 depending on speeds and revs at which driven
*My car in particular runs on 195,55 R15 so this mileage is DAMNNN good according to me.
*mind you that the AC of this car makes u wana wear a blanket even when the outside is 40 deg and above
* My average running is 1600 to 1800 km a month which is done in less then 3 tanks which costs 7800 rupees a month.
