I want to replace my 1000cc engine on vitz 2000 model with 1300cc engineWhat fuel economy will i get( i am not getting more than 8.5 with 1000cc engine)Will it be the right decision??
1.3 will be better but obviously you would need complete wiring with it as your current wiring is of 1.0. 1.3 has better pick and better fuel consumption.
You'll easily hit 13 kmpl with a 1.3 engine. But be very careful, your wiring will need to be replaced. And it is very risky. It can malfunction and can fire whole vehicle.
There is something wrong with your vehicle.I had the same car vitz 1.0 2003 auto for 2 years which gave 10-12 km/l in city and 15-16 km/l on long both with full time Ac.
I have driven it on long route two times and it gave me 17 kmpl but in city i never got more than 8.5
