Vitz 1.5 hybrid vs Aqua

guys, how do you compare these.....aqua rear seats are not for family...vitz is spacious and awesome in pick as wellll.....so 2015 1.5 vitz , how would u rate it.?

With respect pick I can't say much about I don't own one waiting for it (TOYOTA AQUA 2014), but in terms of rear seats, vitz has compensated it's boot space for rear leg room but in aqua rear leg room is compensated for boot space. But rear leg room is not bad though if you aren't 6 or 6+. Vitz hybrid 1.5 is yet to come to pakistan, mostly cars are imported from japan there aren't any named as 1.5L hybrid up till 2016 but people are importing them from UK toyota Yaris 1.5L hybrid, I am not sure about much details of it. On paper the uk spec yaris 1.5 hybrid is better then aqua by a great distance.

Aqua is best selling car in Japan each year since 2012 (since its launch). Vitz is falling on number 7-9, perhaps mainly due to its bad mileage. But when it comes to Vitz Hybrid and Aqua, I believe it will be a close match and personal preference will take the lead. At this point in time one thing is for sure, Aqua with its current shape, having aerodynamic roof and low height will give better mileage as compared to vitz hybrid.
Now let's talk about 1. Rear Seats: Vitz's rear leg room is better than aqua but aqua is providing more than required leg room for a 6 feet tall driver, so you can adjust the front seats to have better rear leg room.
2. Pick: Aqua is extremely powerful mainly because its electric motor supports main engine to rally more horse power when you are keen to raise your hackles. I believe Vitz Hybrid with same 1.5 L engine and electric motor will give similar power but again the height of car matters in gaining speed, lower the height more the acceleration

Aqua is almost a discontinued product after the production of new vitz 1.5 ,do keep that in mind,Vitz 1.5 will take place of AQUA.

Aqua is a bigger car, i.e atleast IST size.

On the other hand Vitz is a smaller, The UK spec Yaris hybrid 1.5 has been their for quite a long time now.

Prius C or Aqua is a different league.

So i doubt if any thing is replacing any thing. Both are catering to different segments.

Aqua and prius are best selling cars by a big margin against vitz. Despite the launch of axio in hybrid it has not been able to take place of prius so despite vitz coming in hybrid it will not replace aqua.

There is no such news, go check Toyota's official site 2017 toyota aqua is still listed, I searched for cars assembled in Japan, Toyota Vitz 1.5 hybrid was launched on 15 jan 2017 and Toyota Aqua is still in production as well. So no official signs of discontinuing it. Being a best seller car why would Toyota discontinue it. Toyota Prius has classified it's model in three segments, Pius C (Aqua), Prius, Prius V (alpha), they have tried to hit all three budget class.

Vitz is much better but you will not get a good resale value . In Pakistan people prefer vitz in 1000 cc . 1300 cc or 1500 cc in vitz will only cause you loss of money in re sale in future .if that is not your concern then vitz is better option .

Yes i am 100% sure this is the final producion of AQUA,i have read it on many forums and blogs.let the new vitz come in market the aqua will go out from websites aswell,,personally i will go for the vitz hybrid because of better ground clearance and better resale in all pak.

28 lakh ki vitz Lenae kon si akal Mandi ha ? Itni price main aik achi Toyota Corolla axio 2014 model ajati ha . Plus Prius bhi mil jati so why waste money and go for wrong option ?

You can have a look at honda fit hybrid gp5 2014 model. Its much better then vits and aqua interms of performance and interior. It has the same engine of vezel. And interior full specs almost identical to vezel.
According to my calculations if you import a base varaint fit hybrid from japan it will cost you arround 1.5million.
Although i dont have any handsonn experience of any of the said cars i.e aqua, vits or fit. But according to my research on these cars i would say handsdown fit is a much better car then vits and aqua.
Pakwheels have also recently reviewed this fit. So you can check it out and decide yourself which car is better.
