Guys just bought a vitz 2012 2 months ago there was some voices in the car got it all worked out but there is still a nagging voice in the engine so we thought of getting a new 1300 engine installed so I wanted to ask will the engine voice go away or there is engine voice in 1300 cc engine too as it is 4 cylinder but the engine right now is 3 cylinder did some research and found out that the voice is because of that to I wana has anyone tried it and is it a good idea to do it ?
What guarantee you have that a scarp market engine will be completely noise and issues free
The 3rd gen vitz has 1.3L 1nr-fe (dual vvti) while the 1.3L units available in Pakistan are 2sz(vvti)you would to swap a complete engine along with complete wiring in either case which would be costly.if you do find 1nr-fe there is a slight different in its transmission.I would suggest you to get your cars engine inspected and go for an overhaul
Well the guarantee is the person who is getting the engine for us if any voice or issues are there he is responsible. Getting it done by known friend of ours
Thanks for the info didn't know about that I will ask him which did he find just made the decision today getting it repaired is also an option but still as I told u the voice and there is some vibration and after getting the 1300 cc engine the car won't stay under power amd can u tell what's the difference between the engines ?

Sir, my point exactly!
Have seen a hell lot of these cases. The owner is screwed, the is screwed and the person intermediating is nowhere to be found .
1nrfe is available and will increase in number if yaris gets successful in market
1.3L will be better than 1krfe for drive and engine sound.
Find a decent condition engine and install from a professional place.
