Vitz 1999-2004 idle adjustment

Hello everyone,
I am experiencing a very strange issue regarding vibration when car is in "D" and brakes applied. Like moving in a slow traffic or waiting at red light.
Actually the problem disappears for a week after tuning but after a week or two, the RPM @ IDLE goes down to 500 and car shakes like hell.

Can anybody help me adust idle RPM please?

first of all check ur car's airfilter it might be totally choked! if not,then get the cars throttle body and idle air control valve serviced! after that have the fuel filter of the car checked if its choked or not and last of all change ur petrol station and fill petrol from some other petrol pump and see if it solves the problem!
and when was the last time u got the sparkplugs changed? and last of all if all are ok reset the ecu

like u mentioned it shakes like hell check the cars exhaust woh bilkul black carbon seh bharawa hoga because when the rpm drops that low the ecu injects more petrol to compensate for the shaking and all hence ur car must even be running rich and ur fuel mileage must be crappy too!

My Car Vitz 2009 also doing the same thing It vibrates on D or R when brakes is applied but this issue happen when engine is hot RPM drops to 600 but manufacturer recommended 730 - 830 RPM on idle. I also want to know can we adjust idle RPM through any obd2 software or Toyota techstream. I think This issue happen not sure completely after changing CVT oil when mechanic perform deceleration sensor zero point calibration.

CVT Oil Pressure Calibration is needed.

Yes forget to mention mechanic also perform CVT oil pressure calibration after done with deceleration sensor zero point calibration. What i don't know is it RPM drops issue related to these calibration or is it some other issue. Previously my car RPM don't drop to 700.

Thankyou aamirQ for replying and suggestions. I had clean throttle body, new air filter, new spark plugs etc. Since I donot have CNG in my car, I have a good mileage too ie 14/15 in mixed traffic and 16-18 on highway.

I've found a temporary solution for fixing vibration. What I did was open the air filter and spray Petrol inside while revving the engine. It helps for ten days and my RPM is on following position

• At cold start- in P Gear- RPM@1.2
• AT cold start- in D Gear- RPM@0.8
• After engine is at optimum temp and blue light goes off- P Gear- RPM is at 0.8
• Optimum temp- D gear- RPM@0.6

The only drawback is that I have to redo the spray process after a week or 10 days.

I m facing a unique problem wd my car vitz 2001.car losses accelerator at bumps and shifts automatically into neutral with no response from pedal but engine keeps on running.. problem solves just after few seconds automatically ...I have changed the gear oil , accelerator pedal ,throttle body ,cleaning of cat convertor..plus no code ...plz guide me as I m now thinking to sell the car due to this issue . regards
