Vitz 2003 1L Engine Replacement Recommendation Needed

I own a 2003 Toyota Vitz, which has overheated multiple times over the years due to various reasons. As a result, the car’s pickup and overall performance have noticeably declined.

Would it be better to go for a complete engine overhaul, or should I consider replacing it with a 1000cc engine instead?

Additionally, can anyone recommend a reliable mechanic in Karachi who has experience with Vitz engine swaps? I would appreciate advice on the estimated cost involved and feedback on the performance after the engine replacement.

if it has never been overhauled and is in running condition.you can give it a shot by overhaul

1SZ-FE better you get a new engine assembly more better if u can find a complete engine ecu with uncut wirring

Get a new radiator too

The problem is that finding a good and maintained 1sz is hard to find. It's better to get the engine overhauled instead.
