I have been looking for answers everywhere but I can't find a good place or a mechanic who can.
My issue started with my car taking little jerks while driving. This was in march or feb 2020. While driving the car jerks a bit and the temperature "COOL" light comes up at the dashboard. It stays there for awhile and then goes out with another jerk.
The mechanic suggested change of oil and plugs which I did. It did fix the problem but just for a few days. I kept on driving and the issue just vanished on its own.
Move to June/July the issue comes up again, now this time whenever the car is at a signal or some breaker, the car vibrates vigorously and the "COOL" Temperature light shows up and just as I release my foot from the brake pedal and push the accelerator the car shuts off. And at one point while driving without the AC in scorching heat stuck in a traffic jam at tariq road, I parked my car in a no parking zone shut it off then after 10-15mins start it again to park at a better spot. Just as I park it and shut it off again, I notice a streak of water behind my car and the water is also gushing out from below the front of my car. Left the car to cool down for a couple hours and topped the radiator again and it worked fine, the mechanic didn't find any leak either the next day. All this happened while "COOL" temperature light issue was still present.
Got the radiator serviced and the "COOL" light issue vanished for a good 10-15 days. After this period of peace the issue popped back again with the car vibrating more vigorously then before and engine shut off issue started to happen again.
At this point I got the Temperature switch changed, carburettor serviced and the throttle body cleaned. The issue of the cool light still remained with the car taking milder jerks then before so I continued on with it as it wasn't causing much issues to me.
Now today I came back home from a drive of about 50kms or so, parked the car and noticed after a while that water was leaking out of the car again. Upon inspection it was leaking from somewhere below the engine side.
Can anyone help me here? What the issue is?
My car has done 150k kms and the engine is also messed up as the car is leaving white smoke from the exhaust. I just want to keep this car for a couple months any suggestions would be appreciated.
