Vitz 2007 Retractable Side Mirrors Stolen!

So it has happened to me too
someone stole the side mirrors of my 2007 vitz, they were retractable ones with indicators on them...

the thief didnt unscrewed them but simply broke them apart from the body now please tell me:

>are they available in the market, mine were in pencil grey color with lights built in, they were also retractable ones
>what is their price??

These are available in market. As jo zaroorat mand musalman lay kar gaya hai, woh issay moo main niswaar rakhnay kay liye to use kare ga nahi.

Will definitely sell these so other zaroorat mand like you can buy these.

I talked to the insurance guy, he told me to file an FIR, then get the mirrors and give the bill to the insurance company.

Dont forget to keep the broken part of old mirrors. Insurance walay will require those.

Now the agent who is talking to me, is putting a strange argument, he says if you get used mirrors the insurance company will pay the whole amount but if you cant find used ones in market then insurance will only pay half of it, he says its stated in the policy statement (but i dont have it around its kept in office so not accessible till monday)

I have sent my driver to search for these damn mirrors and he has reported from shershah that only a single used piece is Rs. 8000 and new one is Rs. 9000, the used ones also are not pencil grey but silver.

please tell me is there any logic that, the amount of parts is depreciated for the insurance claim that they only give half of the claim if car is old?

Yes, it is 2007 model and 10% depreciation p.a. makes 50%, so you will need bear 50% cost yourself.
