Vitz 2009 Fuel Average

I recently acquired a Vitz 2009 model with 1.0L engine. It is fitted with 185/70 tires. After my first fill up, I drove it 493 km till the last fuel bar started blinking. I refueled the car and the amount of fuel was 34.5 L.

So 493/34.5 = 14.28 km/l

The drive included 150 km on Motorway M2 (of which around 70 km were at the speed of around 140-150 km/h rest drive was 110-120 km/h). remaining 343 km were in Lahore including a traffic jam of around 1 hour.

Is it good fuel average? I have refilled today and lets see what it gives this time around.

The correct fuel Tank capacity of Vitz 2009 is 42 liters. I think last fuel light blink when fuel is remaining to 2 to 5 Liter of fuel.

After the fuel level at the last blinking bar is used, it disappears and the whole vertical fuel line on the fuel display starts to blink. That's when you have 2 to 5 liters of fuel available.

May be that critical condition indication Tick tok 10 ... 9 ... 8 .... 7 so on boom fuel end

Well I want to tell is Vitz tank capacity is around 42 liters. You have mentioned it 34.5

I mentioned that my car's refill was 34.5 L. There was some fuel in tank left.

Yes it is normal fuel avg. 100% Lahore city drive will give an avg of 13+

that is perfect fuel average, maximum average i got in lahore was 11kmpl

Update: This time with all inside city drive (it includes 3 km daily on road where I literally crawl) and alot of stop go situations (I live in a conjusted area) and I used AC too. The meter was at 445 km when i refueled. But this time the refill was of 36.04L. Even though I traveled almost the same distance when the last bar started to blink and the very same dispenser on same petrol pump.

Anyways the average on this tank was 445/36.04 = 12.35 km/L.

Isb to lahore ... drove around 40-50 kms there ....... came back to Islamabad
Total cost = 3000 Rs with some fuel left in tank.

Filled my vitz tank from Total at Nasir Bagh. Went from Lahore to Rawalpindi then Islamabad (went to pir sohawa, Bari Imam Darbar) Back to Rawalpindi roamed there and came back to Lahore. This is the fuel situation. Reserve light will start blinking in approx 10-15km.

Today filled up my car's tank. The fill up was 35 Litres and it was 670 km driven.

So 670/35 = 19.14 km/L. Pretty good I guess.
