Vitz 2011 Engine Issues

Vitz 2011, done nearly 52,000km. Recently started giving burning smell when I fully press accelerator for 10 seconds, Also, sometimes when I drive it for more than an hour, the engine starts giving whistling noises when I accelerate.

Recently got the carburetors cleaned, and I'm using high octane fuel only, but it's still giving me 13.8km/l in the city with a/c which is less.

Bro 13.8km/l is VERY good, mine hardly gives 12km/l. 2011 vitz 70k done.
Also the whistling noise, i think that's normal, it comes from engine computer chip at high acceleration. If it's something that has started recently, then i guess you should get it check.

But I was getting the same average on normal fuel, sometimes even better. I only switched to high octane because my mechanic said that high octane will make the vibrations of the car less jerky at low speeds.

Also, does your vitz give off a burning smell through the a/c when you fully press the accelerator for more than ten seconds?

Mine is giving 16 without ac with shell super petrol. And no whisling sound . 2012 70k kms

Yesterday it dropped from 13 to 11 despite me using a very light foot, I rarely take it out of eco mode. I think ODOmeter has issues as well because it is showing wrong temperature (-20 or -23 degrees).
Anyone has very good mechanic who can solve such issues?

Where are you located? Have you had your gear oil changed recently?

Karachi Gulshan E Iqbal, no I haven't had the gear oil changed.
Until now all I have done to the car is gotten the throttle body cleaned twice, oil and air filters changed every 5000kms and changed the a/c filter once.

Try getting your spark plugs checked. Also Hi-Octane should always be used in proportions, as in mixed with normal octane petrol. I usually get 10litre Hi-Octane and rest normal.

Woah, what's your daily route? I have to drive a lot through streets too so that lowers the average.

I drive daily twice from Gulshan to Phase 2 and back.
Could the smell be coming from the spark plugs? What about the whistling noise from the engine
