I own a Toyota Vitz 2013 model. The car was running great until recently when my wife drove the car over a puddle of deep water (it was heavily raining that day). It was running fine that day. The next day the engine check light came up and has been there since. I took the car to my automechanic. He used some sort of wiring (with light bulb attached to it) to retrieve the engine error code (without obd2 scanner), the engine light started to flash 9 times at first and then there was a pause and afterwards 4 times. He did this three times and finally noted that the error code is 94. I have searched over the internet but haven't found this kind of error code.
Can anyone help me with this whether this refers to oxygen sensor failure or catalytic converter failure?
