Don't expect good pick! It's a 1000 cc CVT.

There will always be lots of noise if you accelerate beyond a very very light pedal. Engine IS noisy, but not at an extremely light pedal.

Overall speed is good, can reach 120 easily, just don't expect a quick 0 to 100.

Atta bhai can you tell us the 0-100 that you have achieved on a straight road?

ALso is there a post by you somewhere which talks about fixing the vibration issue commonly found in 3 cylinder Vitz? What are the things to be done so it doesn't vibrate at all?

yes throttle body cleaning is one thing but it doesn't fix entire vibrations

first of all this is not a quarter mile vehicle its a damn city efficient drive vehicle.
to test the 0-100 you should sell it off and purchase either 1.0 Yaris with trd supercharger or an 1NR with Trd Modification and enjoy.
1kr has many issues due to which vibration occurs we had to test it for a certain reason why its happening

yeah, that's why I say people should never expect a fast acceleration from this CVT.

It will be steady and slow but goes 120 easily.

A proper tuned engine and cvt would easily touch 160+with light acceleration and a dying or detoriated engine doesn't cross 120.

Throttle body cleaning + sensor cleaning + use hi octane (full tank) thereafter. Then see where the vibration disappears.
But hi-octane is expensive so just use the normal petrol and live with the vibrations. It doesn't shutdown the engine... so no worries.

Not with 1000cc Vitz CVT, you can't touch 160+ with "light acceleration" on a straight road.

160 + i never tried to go beyond 120, once I accidentally reached at 135-140 that too on motorway.
1000cc engine becomes noisy you can't drive it comfortably on such speed etc.. 160

140-150 is fine, as the car doesn't shake or vibrate at all. Remains very stable. Yes, engine can get noisy unless you're on a down slope.

160 with light pedal is not possible on a straight road.

Well for average daily driver, Vitz 1000cc is a good car.
Ground clearance issue can be solved by driving cautiously and maneuvering over bumps/ large speedbreakers/ potholes.
3 cylinder engine is underpowered only if u drive like these Uber/ Careem maniacs, who accelerate like they are drag racing, otherwise it is pretty decent for city drive and if you doing long routes than you can comfortably drive at 100-110kph without any issues. As with all toyota engines, no real maintenance reqd other than oil and filter changes, mileage is 11-14 in khi city drive with AC. So if you are considering buying this car and it fits your budget and needs than go ahead. Allah apka hami o nasir ho.
