Vitz 2015 performance query

Dear All,

I am looking to get a Vitz 2015. I was ideally looking for a 1300cc variation but I believe that is not readily available in Pakistan

The current option I have mostly come across is the F 1.0 package model.

Regardless, the questions i have are:

1. How is the 1000cc engine? Does it have pick issues? Especially when 4 people are loaded in
2. How is the AC performance? I have a pretty bad experience with Mira ACs where by they only work when the accelerator is pushed down. Is the Vitz AC good enough to cool in hot summer days?
3. How is the suspension? keeping in mind potholes etc here

1000cc is good in all the things you mentioned.
Its more noisy though compared to 1300cc.
Also it is 3 cylinder and 1300cc is 4 cylinder. So this means you will get same fuel economy of types.

So my recommendation is to only go for 1300cc if you find a genuine one and not a swapped 13p0cc engine. Otherwise 1000cc is as great. Pick, AC, suspension... all are great.

Vitz is a good car . Ac is good as compare to mira . Ac works fine even with loaded car .
Vitz pick is very nice subject to its cat con . If its perfect pick is perfect . If cat con has issues then dont ask for pick though it will go beyond 120 with light foot .
Vitz is a good car but i recommend you to go for Passo hana plus as the following are the features which you will never get in any vitz.
Immobiliser
Climate control
Keyless entry
Traction control
Projector lights
Sofa seats
Consumption

The best suggestion i can give is to swap engine 1.0 to 1.3 once you are tired with 1.0 and its noise...

these cars were designed for Japan...which have awesome fuel and atmosphere...but in pakistan with bad fuel 1.0 gives noise...and often cat converter gets choked...

but this is hottest of all, 1.0 in vitz....

if you swap to 1.3, you can get pleasure of 1300 without any taxes.....

Salam bro,
1. The engine is just adequate. I will not call the ride to be sluggish, but it offers nothing to get excited about. Even with full load the car will run fine you will not feel much under-powered.
2. AC is superb. Forget about AC. Vitz AC will never let you down.
3. Vitz offer a good suspension.Its soft enough. Although, not like the corolla's but better then that of cultus/swift/city.

I have vitz 2015 1.0 and i drive almost 60 kms on daily basis.
1. It doesnt have pick issues even with 4 passengers but on quick acceleration and high rpm, engine sometimes produce noisy sounds.
2. AC is very good and far better thn mira and cooling is perfect in summer days as well.
3. Suspension is very soft and bettr thn city/swift/cultus/passo, so u will not feel much jerks.
4. Seats r very cmfrtble and rear legroom side is spacious.

The parts are main issue of Vitz 2015. I am searching for both sensor 1 & 2 along with Catalytic Converter and it is not available in any part of the world.

Its a 996cc engine with 3 cylinder and CVT transmission, it is loud and with AC n 4 people you will feel the load. AC performance is good but not something to brag about. Also the car has ground clerance issue that you will face on potholes and speed breakers, people address to that issue by installing bigger tyres but that adds more weight and fraction.

Hello brother, I myself bought a 1.0 L Vitz 2014 Model few months back and it's a pleasure ride indeed. It's giving me 13.5 km/L and I have observed it's very sensitive to treatment to pedal. Though people on forums have even claimed 17+, I'm Ok with this also in city condition with AC.

Need to know about general advice on maintaining this car as many say it's electrical things are very sensitive. Also, any advice on changing CVT oil? So far I only did typical maintenance things (oil,air filter) ans this is my first CVT car.

Bus engine ko service station per kabhi na dhulwana. Paani maarne ki koi zarurat nai otherwise u may end up firing up your electronics.

Usually toyota recommends to change gear oil after 40000km. So if that time has come, only then get it changed otherwise kosi bhi mechanic k haath lagwanay ki zarurat nai.

I have a Vitz 2013 Reg 2016, it is 72,000 kms driven. So, I have no idea if it's CVT oil is changed or not.

I have been using 10W40 Engine Oil from Havoline. Kindly recommend if this variant of oil is ok or does it requires some other oil?

Also, which CVT oil should I switch to, is Toyota the best place to have it flushed and changed accordingly?

1. 1000cc engine is adequate at its best, initial acceleration isn't good but if you don't have problem with constant revving noise, it is good. if the car is in momentum, it picks speed like other 1000cc cars but in stop and go traffic, it isn't as good whether loaded or unloaded. A/C and load don't affect pick as much as cvt allows it to rev to compensate.

2. A/C performance is very good, no complaints on that.

3. Vitz ground clearance is a bit lower but it tackles potholes, rough patches better than other JDMs.

I recently bought a vitz 1.0 2007 import 2012. I am amazed by its ride quality and leg room. Though trunk space is little less. AC is superb. I don't know about its fuel average as i haven't driven it much. I haven't faced any issue of ground clearance as yet even with 4 persons onboard. P.S: i have shifted from GLI 2009 to this car.
