vitz 2012 modal ac compressor replacement advice is required
which compressor is originally installed in vitz by factory.
Some Ac technician advised me to go or XLi compressor as kabali compressor are not reliable

try to find a new one and a good AC Technician who knows how to handle the Torque Based Compressors fellow members would reffer some one too.

I got options from two experts, one was to replace with corolla's compressor which requires litter modification, second option was to replace with a Mitsubishi Japanese compressor. I am not sure which option is the best.

If your car has climate control, its better to stick with orignal compressor since it has variable speed compressor. Otherwise you can opt for corolla compressor which trips and turns on.

The issue is, that AC technicians avoid going for the original vitz compressor. They goes like, ye kamiyaab nahi hai, iski koi guarantee nahi kabhi bhi band ho jaye ga. Ismai sensor ka issue hai etc. They insists more on their own kabli universal mechanical compressors with clutch plates n all.

I got my my engine replaced almost 4 months back, and bought the original compressor with it, but the technician were like these compressors won't perform well yehan garmi bhout hai etc, and I got their kabli compressor instead. Cut to 4 months now, their compressor is barely working, the clutch plate makes noise while the AC is on.
