As-Salamu Alaykum. I have vitz 2006 model keyless. Since 6 months engine has been acting funny. I went to mechanic and he got rid of the problem and told me tapet seals were leak ( didnt quite understand him) and a year back engine was opened due to some issue. Now the mileage is o ly about 10km without ac and since 10 days when ever the car came to a stop it vibrated so much (like a 3 blade fan rotating only 2 blades....that kind of vibration) and then i had to turn off the ac and after stablazing the car turned off automatically. I went to my mechanic and he said its normal for a 3 cyclinder engine to vibrate this much and regarding engine shut offs he told me to change the battery(battery was new...daewoo maintanance free battery which i changed with the new "pani wali battery") I can understand small vibration which was there since 5 to 6 years but this vibration(fan running with one blade missing.... sorry for the references) was due to an issue which the mechanics werent able to find. One told me to increase the car race through the computer and then he did something with the cylinders and told me one cylinder wasnt working and also increased the car race. . Now its working OK. But the base rpm is now increased which i think will reduce the mileage.
Now the question. I thought of buying the ncp vitz and swaping it and tranferring the original documents to the ncp but after researching i found out that its not possible due to the chasis no which can be caught(plate popping or whatever trick people use). Then i thought of buying and swaping whole of car like doors engine seats dashboard everthing except the framework.
I want to know whether its possible or not.
And if i want to change the engine should i go for engine from bilal ganj lahore or from chaman(that too if i had any contact there...so this option is 50 50).
And i want to go for 1300 cc instead of 1000cc if there is only engine change recomendation. And if 1300cc is installed what are the prerequisite. What can be vhanged and what can be spared. And where will i get the best of deals.
