Vitz engine swap

guys my friend here is thinking to swap his vitz engine for either 4afe or 20v,depending on the alteration required,he wants minimal alteration done to his engine bay area,so want ur advice which engine wod fit with minimal alteration?
*can a 20v be swapped? if so what about suspension? can the gear assembly fit in too?
*how much wod both engine costs and a rough idea on the swapping charges.

@N20: have u heard bout new yaris/vitz sport with 1.8 vvti engine...it's 140bhp.....but i think 4efte is better option.....i ve seen turbo vitz in black color with hood open...damn fast...donno if it's 4efte or vitz engine was turbocharged

Both Can Be Swapped And Both Can Be Done.....!And Have Done.....!
In Japan....4AFE and 4AGE Powered Vitz And Platz Exist...!
Well As Far As Alteration...So Either Swap 4AFE or 4AGE...Both Need Same Mounts Work Bcz Both Belongs From A series...! You Need Suspension And Braking To Be Good...!
Vitz Have ABS And Have Good Braking B/w....!
Same Axles Work.....! Before Working....Check For Suspension And Axles Work Before Getting It Into.....!
If He Need Economical and Hassle Free Swap With Power Like 4AFE...I Suggest 1NZ-FE VVT-i....From JDM Corolla...!
(y) Its Gonna Rock..Same Mounts...Things Really Match B/w Stock And This...!
4EFTE Can Also Fit...But Have To See Turbo Can Really Cover Area And Also Let Space For Radiator Bcz Day Is Not Long In Length....!For That..Body Alteration Is Needed Which I Don't Think Is Good....!4EFTE Gonna Be Hell..Just Fitting Comes...!

i will recomment 2zzge/2zzfe as its z generation.... as is the one of vitz..

for the a series i think you will need serious alteration as the intake/exhaust layout is on the opposite side in both the generations..

another factor will be the weight as 2zz-ge is a solid 30~40 kg lighter than the 20v, and the engine being in the critical position regarding the handling of the car, with 20v you will only have a drag car...

this is just my thinking and i stand here to be corrected....

2ZZ-GE is best option, coz it s equipped with 6-speed manual tranny
there is one for sale in karachi, u can get a qoute 0321-2400464 Ayoub, he have many shops in Shereshah.

in my opinion 4efte will be great,
about 4age Man that engine is huge and is a power house 160 hp
if u want a perfect dragster then go for 4age BT which is kind a hard swap for vitz.
but if u want to enjoy speed go for 4efte !
