I would suggest getting the new city,, comes with a new 1.5 ivtec engine which will be very good on fuel and performance. The outgoing model of city will be selling on a discount once the new city is launched (unless people cant get enough of it already lol). the 05+ Vitz ranks last in my list, simply due to the fact that the 1.0 (3 cylinder) engine is noisy and under powered.... Thanks everyone. After reading your replies etc., I decided to go with Corolla GLI 09. Cost around 14 lakh, bought it a couple of weeks ago. Drive, look etc. is all nice. The thing that pissed me off, though, was that it does not have a remote entry system. You pay such a large price, would it kill them to install a 2-3k priced device. I can't get it installed myself, since the dealers said the 2-year free repairs etc. would be void if that was installed!

Thanks everyone! I would have gone for a 08 city, but quite a few people recommend corolla over it.

AOA!Brother, Vitz is really very expensive on spare parts but has a really good drive.Honda City is okay but the maintenance is expensive.If you have the budget upto 13 lakhs then you should surely go for a Toyota Corolla as it won't cost you much on maintenance and its spare parts are also easily available and cheap.I myself had a Corolla 2000 model.I used that car for 9 years and didn't cost me much at all and didn't trouble me.If you keep your car with care, you wouldn't have any problem even if you keep it for 10 years.If you can extend your range to 14 lakhs then you should definately go for a Toyota Corolla GLI model 2008.

New City 1.3 or 1.5 no worries , iVtec is gonna make things better. Vitz is ok if 1.3L VVti !!!! 1.0L VVti is ok but 1.3L version better!!!!! (I.M.O)

well man if ur budget can go upto 13 lakhs then y dont u consider BELTA.u will get a gud one n possibly a brand new for abt 12 lakhs.Believe me its a JDM car n wont give u trouble for 5-8 yrs if well maintained

City is an extermely reliable car, despite being locally assembled it will also run fine for years if you do regular maintenance.

Belta for 13 lacs is not worth it as the New City with iVTEC engine will probably cost less.

I dont know what misconception you have about City, it is probably the most reliable Pakistani assembled car - mark my words.

this means he MASHALLAH se has bought a new car , now therez no need of comparing city with vitz or corolla !! he bot the car so end of the story and end of thread

What do u suggest ?
