Vitz RS meter installation

Hi guyz,

I got vitz rs meter for my vitz 2001. Currently there is the simple analog meter.
I want to replace it with the RS meter.

Problem i have faced is that when i plug the wire jacks into it, it do not work, however the merter is ok.
The seller said you will require to go the some meter wala to get it working.
Although the grips are same, but i doubt there might be some change in wires order.

There are basically 2 grips that plugs into the meter in both cases with almost 16 wires in one grip and 14 in another.

Anybody here installed the RS meter in his vitz know what i am saying.

I am looking forward if somebody can help me over it to get it working.

Bro u there might be wiring difference like ur connectors have different wires setting while this meter need different .. this could b a case

Thanks for reply. Yeah that is what the seller told me.. But i want to do it my self so if nybody know whats the exact wire setting for this Rs meter.

my friend got this meters wiring done u wont be able to do it at home its realy difficult and complex and i wont recoment to install the meter *** all ur meter wiring will be cut and redone which accordng to me it not gud but yes if some one does it be grip to grip fiitng without cuttng wires then its great

@xohaib bhai: I have bought RS meter too. And the current one is analog metrr without RPM. Can you please help me change the meter? If you have wiring diagram please share it with me on p080069@nu.edu.pk

Changed my meter sucesfully.I do have some wiring diagrams/pin diagram for Yaris model which are 80 percent matching with VITZ

Can you please share the wiring diagram? I currently have a digital cluster installed and want to replace it with an analog cluster that has an rpm in it. Also, would it matter that my car is a manual while the cluster available is in auto?
