Just came in .....
This Vitz has a great sentimental value. My late brother who passed away on 28 February 2015, had saved up penny by penny for this car. Shuffling through his stuff/medical documents, I came to know he had even saved by occasionally not spending on medicines/consultant appointments. Bringing this daily driver back to pristine condition and above all, turning it a notch or two up has become an obligation for me.
Bought a pair of fog lamps branded as ESUSE after rejecting two sets of DEPOs from different vendors. Bought separate wiring and separately purchased the OEM Toyota front covers (Made in Japan). Very nice build quality. I was surprised to see the quality of glass lens firmly attached to a strong housing with OSRAM bulb/tube. Overall definitely a robust and nicely finished package. The throw and output was excellent.
the way you stripped it, i had a feeling that you might take out the engine too :P....anyways good work on the car and all the best for future detailing
@fouadbakht do you still own the viper? watching you work on that gem was great. and great job on this vits as always
Vickybhai, thanks!I would have removed the engine too, trust me, if I had the tools and tech know how.Anyway, Inshallah, Sound deadening project next up.
Hate to admit it, but, long gone. Check this out:-https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/members-member-rides/162582-new-stuff-2011-civic-vti-viper-236
@thinkingSend me some snapshots of your headlights including close ups or post them here so that I and other respected PakWheelers could guide you better. Don't worry nothing goes wrong with the calibration if the guy doing the job exhibits some patience and little care. That's all.Toyota guys? They are not authorized to carry out that kind of work. They will simply try to lure you into buying new ones or refer you to someone in the local market. While you drive down to that place, the referring guy calls him up and goes like "Hey, wolfy, just sent a rabbit to you with this license plate, make and type car......You know what to do........Don't forget my percentage"
thanks for guiding bro. i was inclined towards visiting toyota people for cleaning my vitz head lights. will share detailed pics over here with you for sure. Another guy asked me 3K for cleaning them however i was not convinced coz he couldnt even match the shine in my mehran crystal lights so i didnt get it done from him.
how much did these FOG lights cost?
i got DLAA one for my car. working fine. intend to upgrade the H11 bulb tough.
There's a guy in Markaz F-10 who has a stall (no proper shop) under a tree. Will initially ask for 1800/- but will do the job for 1500/-. His work is amazing if not passionate. Just make sure good quality headlight sealant is used after the job to top it off. Oh and by the way, a quick cleaning plus shine is done by most of the guys in Saddar for Rs.300/-. Stay away from them.
These are cost effective fog lamps. Get the job done just fine. No worries.
Anybody watch the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds"???
Well Same Action Happened To Most of This Stuff.....
Don't Really Know Who Was Nicholas Cage in My Case
Aoa.. is this engine no of vitz?..I have these kind of stains on engine of vitz. . How can I clean these
Post pics of the engine. No work is impossible by the Grace of Almighty Allah.
Thanks. . I am in isloo .. once i go bak home.. I will share engine bay pic..it seems during stay at port or during sea travel there are stains of salt vapours
Not just the travel alone. They JDMs are parked for Allah knows how long at sea ports which is the real cause. Transit is not that long. But you brought a valid and good point.
As I just used an old sand paper to clean a part of engine and beneath is very shiny silver color alloy
