went on an outing with some VWCOP members yesterday, had a great time. Went to chakri through pindi and then returned via the motorway. am glad to say all cars made it perfectly there and back,... including my car (which was NOT long route tested till yesterday).

i had the alignment and suspension sorted out last week and the car now tracks straight and true. i tested the braking and now it was balanced perfectly as well. What i can say is that my 1303 is now good enough to give XLI's a bit of a fright on long runs:P

it went off without a hitch, the youngest participant was around 18 and the oldest participant was 81,.. yes 81 years old. the weather threw EVERYTHING at us but these little cars refuse to back down,.. as well as their owners.

I backed out only because I learned that theme of the day was "Beetle". Though Romano was sort of 'no worries, just join in'. Anyway what and how many cars were there?

indeed the the me was Beetles but the fact that you drive a VW means you are more than welcome to join in at any time with us. the total cars were 7 with an average of 2 people per car.

lol!!yea nice to hav made it bak without any issues...i honestly had doubts abt her making it thru but she did well man!!atleast nw i can go places without thinking she mite break dwn...
altho theres a slight issue with the floor...waters been coming in all day yesterday and i cant figure out how :S...it was enough to b standing in the rear right foot area wen i got home...any points i need to check specially??

^LOL! welcome to the club, my car was flooded too. i'd suggest you check the area where the outside floorboard joins the body (behind the door opening). that's where i think my car is letting it in from.

also look to see if your heater pipes are letting in water from the rear of the car.

I'll be stripping my 1303 next weekend to seal it all up.
