that can be done easily all you have to do is chopthe roof down aroudn 3-4 inches (to be practical) and fit some rims.

I did something very similar 7 years ago, and more recently some guy is doing one alot like it in RWP:

thanks bro, can you tell me about the power plant? is it possible to replace the existing power plant with a more common motor ummm say a Honda B series in beetle?

i have not seen (atleast in this thread) lot of people who have done work on changing the interior, i understand the concept behind keeping it original but just out of curosity why haven't much work done on the interior? is it hard or what?

the standard interior is a bit hard to work on, cuz there is not much that u can do to the dash... u can only add a custom built console, as its not convenient to put console boxes from other cars (as far as i kno)...

Bseries is no good for the type1 beetle, you'd be better off looking for a subaru impreza engine as it is more or less a straight fit to the car (requireing a little plumbing for the radiator)

as for the interior, alot is possible but at the end of the day most people woudl be happy with just a dash pad (like the 1302 and later models), anything non VW/audi/porsche fitted to a beelte is considered destruction & blasphemy.

no doubt we all liked you car wen it was orange and the same applies now that it is black, but you should note that your front left tyre is on backwards and that the 2 front tyres are a different tread.
