You might be interested in this one. Its 34PICT Carb. Guy is demanding Rs. 15,000/- for the piece and claims it as NEW.

thanks, I already have sourced a 34PICT-3 carb from nasir sheikh,.... but it doesn't look anything like this.

Are you sure this one is a VW item? as the carb for a beetle would need the fuel line to be facing left (towards the coil). this one seems to be facing the fan shroud.

This would make it a Mercedes carb. It was used in the 190C (61-66 W110) & the 220B (59-65 W111).

not at all, i'm sure many MB fans woudl give their left arm (and possibly their right) for this unit. they are rare as hell and next to impossible to find in PK.

as those mercs are quite desirable to collectors it's possible that someone from the VCCCP would be interested. CLICK HERE

Where in Karachi can i find a complete set of rubbers and channels for the door windows + the rubbers for the quarter windows. My mechanic says its not easy to find.

Also, i require the engine bay rubbers.

Check with Raheem at Universal Motors - Jamshed Road. He used to take the whole project in hand for doing this job but i know one thing, he can do it as he himself one big time skinner.

I dont have the number's buddy but call Iftikhar 0345-2931744 (VW Upholsterer) and ask for his number as he's the one close to Raheem's workshop.

I'll check at Universal Motors. Last time i checked with Cheap Autos they did not have any of the rubbers. Thanks for the quick reply!
