Papers are in order. It has the new blue book. Taxes paid until dec 2004.
You dont have to worry about the N series reg. Its just a myth and misinformation spread around by people. I was under the impression that thsi was an old story now.....
From what I know the N series cars were those which changed over from the old six digit numbers a bit late. If you have a good memory, you may recall there was a huge outcry when the Govt decided to issue new numbers and plates to all vehicles. A huge fee was involved too. Old car owners opposed the idea saying their cars were 'not worth this expense and trouble'.
Rest assured there are absolutely no issues with the 'N factor'. I myself drive an N reg beetle as my daily transport. Had it for about ten years now. Never did I face any probs.
We bought the bug from the kabaria for rs 25000/- He had bought it for 23000/-
The price is fixed and the new owner clears the taxes. It is a no profit, no loss venture for us. The idea of seeing another beetle on the roads of Karachi would be sufficient reward for us.
