I am about to start 2 new Jeep Projects and have started doing my project documentation and all necessary preparations prior to the start of the projects:
1: Willys MB Modified
2: Willys MB Original Petrol
Willys MB Modified project is not a problem as I have already done 5 of those before. But re-storing Willys MB or Ford with its original specifications is a challenge and I would like to ask my fellow Pakwheelers to help me out in completing this project in a way to acquire the original parts.
I am already in contact with the Pakwheels Offroaders who have re-stored Willys MB in its original specs. They are really supporting me and will be a big source of information and providing some contacts for accruing original parts. Besides this I will be looking for the help/support of my fellow Pakwheels members. If any member selling or happen to know any one selling his/her Willys MB or its original parts in any condition (Running/scrap) pls do let me know. This will help in a great deal to re-store this legendary World War II Jeep. I will really appreciate your help and thanks in advance.
Right now I am looking for the original Chassis-Body and possibly with it’s most of original mechanicals such as:
Engine: Flat head ‘Go Devil”
Transmission: Borg-Warner T84J or T90
Transfer Case: Dana Spicer 18, 2 Speed
Rear Axle: Dana 4.88:1 23-2
Front Axle: Dana 25
