I am facing a problem with my 2005 accord. VSA light is illuminated with a triangle and exclamation mark ️ in centre, with obd2 scanner it is giving code of 66-01, (brake pressure sensor). I tried to clear the codes but the VSA light is still there. Is it something to do with ABS block? From where can i find it
When did you last flush the brake fluid?
Btw,that code is not complete, it seems like your scanner is messy, put on another one and check, it should be something with B or U
I dont know when it was changed last time. There are actually 3 codes
B1177 which is related to battery voltage B1325 rain sensor66-01 brake pressure sensor
To my knowledge either its brake switch or vsa modulator ( abs block )
you have low voltage on the gauge control unit (usually a bad alternator or very low battery when starting)
the 66-01 code is the pressure switch internal to the ABS block. Its a rudimentary code proprietary code though, you need to get a Honda HDS to get it to translate.
One thing the scanner does say is, DRIVE THE CAR ABOVE 50kmph then vsa light will go away, i did drive it above 50 kmph but not more than 100-200 meter.may be i need to drive it for few km ?
you need to drive it above 50 kph for more than a few kilometers.
I tried it on highway , no difference ! VSA light still there
That sensor is probably bad then. You will need to replace the abs block and code it to the car.
If you have a bidirectional scan tool you can command the abs unit to kick and then see if the brake fluid pressure readings change
There are so many abs unit available but different reference numbers ( surprisingly from same model and same year accord, but i dont know why they have different part numbers ) any will work or i have to have replace it with the matching reference number replacement.
You need the same part number and also brand type, e.g. if its nissin you cannot swap it for valeo.
Retain your original electronics unit for it and put it on the replacement one.
Xulfiqar bahi, can you help me regarding these bosch diesel injectors test, honda i-ctdi 2.2 diesel , 2005 europeon accordAre these ok? Car is giving no issues, copper seals were leaking, hence i got them tested from Bosch before putting back in
