VW Beetle: Bike Engine swap?

fellow pakwheelers i have been planning to get a vw beetle for a certain project that i would not like to disclose so soon. my query in this regard is: whether an air cooled motorbike engine can be swapped into a beetle so that i may be able to get close to 80~90 bhp without adding a radiator which might be a bit of a challenge considering my build? if yes then my next question would be whether i can run an air conditioner off it?

P.S. i know that vw beetles are very rare and hardcore beetle fans consider any mods to their originality a sin but i promise them that i will chose the fairly ugly and less rare ones from the 70s for my project and i'll not touch the more classic and rare ones :P. so, please answer the questions rather than cursing me; atleast dont curse me openly

any specific model? also, would such a mod be stable in the long run id est whether the engine will be able to pull the heavier body with ease, without buckling under the pressure?

Not recomended first bike engine it may have 80-90 hp but torque might be an issue
secondly i have seen toyota engine swaps in beetles like @BeeKay's Slivertop beetle
and seen a 4E-FE beetle some time back and it had radiaor in front AC had full scene in that beelte

Air Cooled Motor wudnt performed well as in bikes they have more exposure to air hence performes to some extant but if u wana put it on back side of the car than it wudn be suiatable on the other hand Finding a durable air cooled motor producing ~100 BHP is also dificult. so i think u must go with some setup having Liquid Cooling system & considering the weight of Beetle Motor shud be able to exerts minimum 125 ~130 horses with excellent torque. Running an airconditioner may result in power loss at lower RPMs & even wudnt be practical without use of external gear Box.

if you want to beef up a VW beetle - get your hands onto a subaru flat4 - and make a water cooling system for it too.

subaru flat 4 wont be available in pakistan but what u can find is a mazda rotary engine which is small in size, no pistons. ligther and easy to mount. but i would recommend the vw 1600cc dual port engine, u can trim its piston heads from backside to make them lighter and ultimately more power is what u r gonna get.
