****VW Beetle Twin carburetors needed****

Hello All and Happy New Year:

As most of you know i got a 1600CC motor in my beetle. After driving it for a week or so i decided i need more power because its never enough. To be honest i am not seeing what i really want to see.

I have been looking for twin carburetors here in Pindi but cant find anything. So request to all fellow members in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad to help me find a set of nice carburetors with the mainifolds for my car.

If you guys can also give me some price & power estimate it will help me with other modifications i am thinking about.

Based on the test drive i had the other day. i think your car need to improve on Decelleration force then acceleration force

Get front diec brakes of a Micro Bus and get the master cylinder changed. Then u r ready for a turbo let alone twin carbs

dual port, twin carbs.... Can't you try and use 2 single carbs from a bigger car?

Saqib bhai, I am working on the disc brakes...My car is still at Khalids. He is changing the master cylinder and complete breaking system. He told me not to put front disc breaks yet, until he finds a nice set.

Khalids still thinks there is a problem with the Speedometer and its not showing the correct speed. I have no problems with the pick up but i still think twin carbs would be nice to have.

Dude, i talked to a couple of people about using bigger carbs but i was told to stick with VW twin carbs.

what kind of mileage are you getting out of your 1600cc Beetle, with a light as well as heavy foot inside city as well as on the highway.

And relatively speaking how great is the difference between the 1300cc and the 1600cc in terms of pick-up and acceleration through the gears, you can give a precise reading if you have it or just me tell how it feels as compared to the other more modern cars on the road.
