VW india has launched GT versions of their popular Virtus sedan and Taigun SUV in India with manual transmission for the sedan which was till now not offered and much awaited by enthusiasts.
The Virtus was the only Volkswagen India 2.0 model without a manual transmission paired to the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine but that is not the case any more as the price for the new Virtus GT Plus MT is Rs 16.89 lakh. The Taigun GT DSG and GT Plus MT have also been launched with manual and auto transmissions at Rs 16.79 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh, respectively.
