Anyone have experience with Suzuki extended warranty for WagonR?

unless you have plans to get periodic maintenance done from dealership till next 3-4 years, don't go for extended warranty

Actually dealership offer 3 free oil changes and warranty up to 80k kilometres. I think 3 oil changes will cover 13k but now sure which oil they will use.

they use crappy 10w40 meanwhile recommended one for k10b is 0w20
some dealerships pour 0w20 if you pay the difference
problem is. they force you to get periodic maintenance done every 10k km. charge +-3k for it, what they do, brake service, clean plugs and minor jobs like checking battery water and cleaning air filter
other than that, oil change every 6 months irrespective of mileage
you can't even switch to any other quality oil for longer change interval
just incase any issue arises, like wagonr has rear bearing issue, generally they don't entertain such issues, according to them these are because of external impact and not covered under warranty terms n conditions
just incase you don't get car maintained from dealership, you can still save a lot which you can later spend on anything which dealership will not fix under warranty
so personally it's a big no for me

I agree with you and people near me also not satisfied with the suzuki canal dealership in Faisalabad because mechanic and sales person consider themselves scientists.
I was worried about warranty and maintenance because car is going to be use as daily drive and expected to cross 60 to 90k mileage in a year.
Just one more question. Can you please guide me on oil change interval because as per new suzuki manual it is recommending at every 10k. I'm not sure which type of engine oil will last 10k?

when you're driving that much,
I will recommend ditching warranty, (use genuine air filter because it's better as compared to everything available in market) and rather than using sgo with +-7500 km interval,and go for amsoil signature series 0w20 with amsoil filter with 15-20k km interval, you will save a lot more in long run

yes for wagonr cultus and old swift paksuzki started recommending 10k km back in 2020-so on. which is utter non sense in my opinion
generally for normal fully synthetics, change interval under normal is 15 kms/1 year and under severe 7500 kms/6 months
infact for new k12m swift now paksuzuki is recommending 7500 kms/6 months rather than 10k/6 months
so just incase you're going to use 0w20 sgo fully synthetic, use it for 7500km/6 months
even brands like liquimoly and valvoline recommend 7500 kms/6 months for their oils under severe service

I will go for SGO 0w20 because it will be easy for my brother as well to take the car to suzuki workshop. I will try to keep the OCI between 6 to 7k then.
Unfortunate happens yesterday and my brother already paid the 13k to them without asking me but i think if i pay them a difference they will use 0w20.

My brother bought extended warranty for his WagonR in 6 or 7 thousands back in 2017/18. It's a/c condensor was leaked right after normal warranty (2 years) expired. It saved him around 35K as he claimed it under warranty.

if there's no cabin filter installed by owner, then for sure one can expect leak within 3 years
