I believe you all are aware of what idling start - stop function is in Wagon R Stingray 2013.
This function only works if you as a driver are wearing seat-belt or if seat-belt is buckled- pakistanis.
This feature is best for fuel consumption in cities with actual following of traffic rules. yeah really.
Otherwise if you don't like it then you can turn off this function by the press of a button marked as " A mode" on the right side of steering besides the 'fog light' button.
Turning off this function will show an orange light indicator in the cluster panel showing " A mode" as off.
An issue might arise and may panic you would be a constantly blinking orange light indicator showing "A mode" off, even though you might press the "A mode" button in order to make sure you are not dreaming.
Yes, my good Sir. This is no dream this is a nightmare. A stupid mechanic disconnected the negative lead of battery under the hood of my Wagon R. Although the indication of blinking A mode off was now gone ,
but the car would not start now.
Wagon R ignition issue is discussed in another topic by me, both issues this one and the other are connected, so check that out, too.
Another Mech. ran diagnostics and found that the blinking issue of "A mode" was due to battery low indication of the lithium battery and nothing else.
The lithium battery i guess costs around 7000 - 10000 in lahore.
I hope this helps. Never ever go fiddling around your JDMs. Ya Allah i miss those non-computerized things_bicycles._
