Please take note not to disconnect battery for a hard reset in Wagon R Stingray 2013, dah! obviously. I disconnected the battery leads for cleaning them and, Lo' n behold, everything lights up in the gauge cluster but the car won't start. The brake pedal used for starting the car becomes hard or in other words, becomes ' stiff'.
Called my Mech. with a scanner, he checked the codes and found that Stingray 2013 has some weird connection with 'starting / igniting of engine with brake pedal'. confusing JDMs.
So he had to remove the brake fuse underneath the steering in order to over-ride the malfunction, i guess!. After the test when he pushed 'start' the car started. Then he ran complete diagnostics again in order to clear all the codes
So, remember to never disconnect main battery under the hood without supplying an alternate voltage to the car computer. Also, i think one should not jump start these "Wagon R"s with lithium batteries, too. You might end up frying your car computer.
