After getting CPL all you have to do is to apply in an airline company or there is something more to it?

Think hard before going for CPL. Nowadays job situation is almost non existant. PIA is the only airline that hires fresh CPL holders with 200 hrs and that too with heavy connections. Forget Airblue, they only hire after you have minimun PIA ATR experience.

Job situation is bad all over the world. There are examples of Boeing 767 captains with 20 years experience trying to find jobs in small charter companies.

I applied for Etihad Airways cadet pilot programme and out of the 1000 or so people selected for the entry test 5 or so were selected to go to the next round of tests. But the experience was excellent. The tests were conducted by Etihad Airbus A340 captains.
