If you're looking for fuel efficiency plus loads of features, get an imported Civic hybrid (preferably a UK import as they came with more features than the JDM imports). I easily get 16.5-18 KPL in the city with AC turned the whole time from my Civic hybrid. If you get the MXST model, you get a full beige leather interior (real leather not seat covers lol), climate control, multimedia steering wheel, heated seats, VSA, adjustable headlights, cruise control and the top of the line model comes with 8 airbags compared with only two we get in the PKDM 8th Gen Civic so it has more safety features as well.
A manual Civic 8th Gen will give slightly better fuel economy than the auto, only 1-1.5 KPL difference.
The PKDM 8th Gen Civic P/T gives around 7-8 KPL in the city (mixed AC usage) while the manual gives around almost 9-10KPL (mixed AC usage). The manual has slower resale and its difficult to drive a manual in constant traffic jams so its better to get a manual here.
