Wanna buy my first car Accord CL9

Hi pakwheelers, i decided to buy my first car which is Honda Accord CL9, my price range is 10 to 12Lac, remember this accord is my dream car since childhood,and no w i decided to but this as my first ever car, many of my friends suggested me to go with reborn due to 2008 model, low milage, little better fuel consumption and or maintenance because of reborn is newer model than accord, i don't have any problem to go with accord with their fuel consumption, just need your suggestions between Accord CL9 and Reborn, do any one compare their engine powers, body stability and maintenance as well, and what kind of problems i will face in Accord and Reborn.

Chances of finding Accord in decent condition is very rare specially in your budget make sure you dont end up buying a basket case
Since this is your first my suggestion is to buy neither go for something with parts availability and lower running and maintenance costs

yes i watched that video, and he is mentioned that accord have a better drive than honda rebirth, is it true to get better comfort from 2003 or 2004 model car? rather than rebirth from 2014?

i am very confused to choose between reborn and accord, one of my friend had both cars in same time, and suggest me to go with cl9 because their drive and comfort, he said reborn will give you tough time regarding to maintenance, and if you found accord in better condition, then accord will never disappoint you according to maintenance!

I've owned both cars and still 8th gen civic is with me clocked 115k kms.It entirely depends on the condition of the accord you are purchasing and your city and driving conditions, yes drive is much better than civic of properly maintained accord but hard to find one now a days,If i were you i'll go for civic reborn because of parts availability and newer model,but both cars if not properly maintained are nightmares,so go for a properly maintained and don't buy in rush / in excitement of new car.

Yes Accord is better than an 8th/9th gen IF it is a maintained good example otherwise its not worth it you would be spending more time and money at workshops.
Your friends opinion is biased as Civic parts are abundantly available in new and scrap markets but accord parts are rare and expensive
You might find a clean sorted civic in your budget but finding an Accord is a different ball game.
I too am looking for an Accord cars that are in good condition are upwards of 14 lacs and banged up abused examples are available between 9-11

yes, agreed brother, i am super excited, but yes i am looking accord with patience as well, what about duplicate number plate?

yes agreed, it is very hard to find accord in market, only little number of accord ads posted on olx and pakwheels!

i won't recommend it because the car could possibly give you problems in future in selling etc. due to that and FIR history in some policestation for duplicate numberplates issuance ( i assume this is the process in KHI for duplicate plates)

one of the person asking for 10.5 lac for their accord cl9, the only issue he was told me that need to replace one foundation

There is a separate thread for Cl9. Very very informative. Suggest you go through it. Clean Cl9 in your budget is very difficult while a Reborn is gettable

You won't find a clean CL9 for 12 lacs. I would suggest you to increase your budget to at least 15 lacs or buy some other car.

Also, a good 8th gen Civic will also cost close to 15 lacs.

People who own good condition CL9s rarely sell them as they're an absolute treat to drive. The ones available on showrooms and online are beat up by teenage racers.

Thre is an add in buy/sell section accord 2002 registrd 2007 and the car is from karachi. The car looks clean and the owner is asking 1465 as per the add which is above ur budget but u can always hav a look at it. The car odo is around 90k but that seems to be fishy as reversing a meter is cheap these days and 90% cars in market being sold hav odo reversed. If its ur first car, go for a newer model car but if ur locked on accord, extend ur budget, find a decent well kept CL7/9 and it will surely serve u well. All the best for the search
