Want to bring Karachi registered car in Islamabad. Any issues?

Dear brothers. I want to buy a Karachi registered car in Karachi and bring it to Islamabad. Should I do it or not?

People say that Karachi registered cars have zero resale in Islamabad. Is it true?

I'll have to pay yearly token in Karachi through an agent.

I have noticed that there are tons of Karachi registered cars in Islamabad now. In the past there were very few.

The car is a Mercedes.

I have noticed that you have more variety in Karachi and cars are cheaper. So you have more buying opportunity in Karachi.

Please help and tell me whether I should go for the Karachi registered car and bring it to Islamabad?

i have 2 karachi registered model 2012 & 2010 cars stationed in islamabad. 1 is E-class i never faced any problem,

question: car is for your convenience from your money right ? why are you worried for resale ? depreciation of PK Rupee will keep ur car at same value after 2 years as it is today.

you buy the car transfer it in your name, pay tax for 1 whole year, obtain original file & NOC from excise, n anti carlifitng ACLC Police for transfer bring it transfer it Number & plates will remain unchanged file will be entered into system old regn book will be archived n a new islamabad book will be issued py taxes / token in Islamabad

NO there is no issuse with karachi number car in islamabad but thats true you have to pay yearly token through an agent or TCS i guess and here in islamabd there is zero resale of karachi number car thats also true but if you buy a islambad number car in pakistan than there is no issue of resale in any where in pakistan

search the market for Karachi regd cars - do some survey and check the price variation for local car & khi regd car you will get answer to your question

locally regd cars fetch better value its a thumb rule across Pakistan

Partially correct my friend! As in Karachi / Sindh, Islamabad number cars are not liked, people prefer buying local area number cars! Thats a fact

yes if you do that thn is well nd good you bring back ur car to karachi and sale it because you dnt find any buyer of karachi number here in islamabd it seems to like find a diamond in a coal cave

Well I heard a few months ago in the news that now only cars will be sold (without number plate). The owner gets to keep the number plate.

It's okay to use a Karachi number car in isb with Another number plate( colour?? ) use different colour number plate create issues or challan??
