Asak, i want to buy a new car please suggest me a good car which is in the range of 11 lacs.

i have three options but i am confused?

1) Suzuki Wagon R VXL
2) Suzuki Alto 2016
3) Daihatsu Mera ES

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated?

hi, i bought Suzuki wagon r turbo+hybrid 2013 two weeks ago... before that i use mehran 2014, cultus 2015, swift 2016, corolla gli 2012... so i have a little bit exprience about cars and after using all these cars i thinks if you want car then go for local cars but if you want car with features then go for jdm cars...

I also have bought WagonR JDM and i am loving it , i sold my cultus 2015 and bought it . The specs as mentioned by hamza are best available . and i am loving the upgrade.
The pros i like :
acceleration, space, comfort , mileage

anything just go for JDM. Mira on the other hand has poor ground clearance. so in my opinion go for JDM WagonR/ Stingray. ( parts are easily available)

WagonR vxl ( PKR ) is not well equipped and also its shape is also rather pathetic, since its PK the built quality is also poor.

The price difference is not that much as compared to both the WagonR's

Rest is your own judgment .

JDM although being used is still better than our new cars and a better value no doubt. But remember that all is good and shiny when your car works fine. But when your car develops a problem it can cause a lot of trouble and headache.

My advice is if you are persistent on JDM then buy a low mileage well taken care JDM. Better import a JDM yourself. That will cost some extra money.

And do check price of spares like side mirrors and lights before you buy a JDM.

In my opinion buy a JDM only if you have another vehicle, and buy a low mileage and sale it before it requires major maintenance.

Dont agreed bro shape of pkdm and jdm wagonR are almost same and pkdm has 1000 cc engine which is superb whereas 660 cc is under power when sitting 3/4 adult no comparison and pkdm is imported from Indonesia having excellent quality interior even better thn corola dont believe? Have a test drive and its brand new bro peace of mind for atleast five years. I own pkdm vxl wagonR and loving it.

And for engine i took mines for picnic from khi to gawadar with four people on board and with bags and stuff . I never ever felt that its underpower. Jdm is just hell better . And if you check both of them sideways you will find jdm looks better. No offence to pk one

No doubt jdm has some good features but 660 vs 1000 doesn't need any comparison as 1.0 engine is a monster in front of 660. Another aspect is brand new not a tempered or suspicious car for peace of mind for at least five years. no offense pls but having vxl wagonR brand new and simply loving its pick and performance.

A friend of mine told me that wagon r has failed in pakistan? he also tell me that the parts of pkdm wagon r are very expensice also it doesnot have any resale value.

Thing about parts is partially true since Paki WR is imported from Indonesia and not all parts are locally manufactured. But it'll improve in a year or so.

Plus, if you buy a new car you shouldn't worry about parts since it'll have warranty.

But second part isn't correct in my opinion. Just check sales figures. At least here in Karachi it has pretty decent resale.

Parts of Pkdm WR are equally expensive... Rear light for 6500 Rs... Head light around 15k... Air filter around 2k i guess... Also its parts are not available in market, an owner had accident, and even Suzuki dealership in his city couldn't provide him required parts...

JDMs are better than Pkdm WR no doubt, But again it depends upon your personal preferences... u can try different cars and take the decision...
