Want to increase pick of baleno 2005 sports

hi guys i have baleno 2005 sports the pick on cng and petrol both is not good,pehlay iss ki pick bohat thi but kuch din say pick thori ho gai hay.khas thor per ac per tu bohat kam ho jati hay.sugest me how 2 increase pick.by installing new plugs ,wires or some clutch problem.tunning say koi faraq nahin para kafi places say kerwa chuka hoon.tell me the prices of iridium plugs,wires and clutch plate set.plz sugest me.thnx:)

You must adjust your CNG in order to increase pick. If you have done so. The last step is plug adjustment.

Also check that your filter box is really tight. The baleno has problem of loose filter box. adjust the clips from mechanic to make them really tight. you can replace the clips as well. When the box becomes loose it gives some time more air some time less so the computer keep on adjusting air for car that becomes trouble for car.

Baleno comes with single tip plugs which are not suitable for the engine. Because there life is very low. In other cars they run for 1 lakh Km but in baleno only 4-5 thousand km. Iridium plugs are about 1000 rs. per 4 but I dont suggest.

Replace the plugs by 2 tip Bosche plugs. It will make your car the real air cutter.

Does your car gives blasts in morning? If it is so your plug coils are malfunctioning.

If you still feel your car is less than VTI. there is a tip to make it. your fuel average will not be disturbed as well. Go to mechanic and ask him to remove the air bottles beneath the air filter and mud sheild. You car will be open to air and will fly in air. The average of CNG will be good but with petrol will become bad.

So go to to mechanic and tighten your filter box first.

on CNG what ever u do...nothing gona effect ...the amount of money u will spend on it will be worthless

bro CNG is basically a dry gas and the engine is bassically made for petrol so CNG is a sort of jugaar for the engine. the first step is that u shud remove the cng kit n everything regarding CNG.

and if u want to run ur engine on CNG and increase performance...

then here r a few tips...

1. change ur intake manifold to a custom made polished manifold from both sides. inner and outer side must b chrome polished. or it shud be made from stainless steel.

then u must install performance headers(usually known as the custom exhaust manifold). This also must b of stainless steel and get a free flow piping frm the headers to the tail and after that install a gud quality muffler at the last. Free flow piping means no dholki from engine to tha tail pipe. ok.

now cum 2 the spark plugs. u just get DENSO Platinum or Iridium plugs wid single tip.... there is no need to get BOSCH Super 4, coz ur ignition system is stock. if u r going to change the ignition system with a MSD one, then u need the bosh super 4 spark plugs with 4 tips or any higher quality. but still u don need that.

NOW U INSTALL ONE OF THE AIR FILTERS LIKE SHOWN IN THE PICTURE....

and after that get ur car tuned from a professional person. thats it....

according 2 ur wish, u will feel a great difference.......

I am digging this relatively old thread cuz it best suits my problem, here is the situation:

Sometimes pick of my Baleno 2003 is so good that can follow a VTI and at times gradually reduces to equal to Mehran (as it is today).

1. Air Filter New n tightly closed.
2. Same problem on CNG n Petrol.
3. Tappets adjusted and plugs in good shape as well.
4. Throttle body cleaned.
5. Even got Cat. Conv removed.
6. No Check Engine light.
7. Stable RPM.
8. Mechanics did not pick anything from sound of engine.
9. No signs of bad clutch.

Did Step 4 & 5 last month and after each step car pick reaches that of VTI but gradually came down after driving around 500Kms or so....

get ur car tune frm some modern workshop which has EGA so tht they can adjuct air fuel ratio properly.Bad air fuel ratio kills the spark plugs etc which is leading to poor response

i also own baleno..pick ko kya krna a bhai .koi jahaz to hy ne baleno jo 400km/h pr chla jae ga
low pick good bcz smooth drive.decent drive no jerks

I also like the smooth n economical drive of Baleno but at times ( as mentioned above) the exceptional pick really give a good drive and on same economy as well. So the idea is why not get full benefit from the car.

Baleno pick is good but "sports" with ps cng it doesnt make sense.
