I have gotten body and paint work done from Toyota Rawal, Toyota GT and Toyota Capital in the last 3 years on 2 different cars. One was white and the other was black. Parts painted were fender and bumper.
Toyota Rawal, the staff seems overloaded, paint is not done professionally. When you point out the issues they make excuses. Almost no one in the body shop seems to have an eye for detail. Body work alignment is ok but finishing is really bad. There are some people in senior management have an eye for detail and experience with mechanical issues.
Toyota Capital, their attitude seems to be that we can't care less. Paint quality was bad. I had to go back 3 times to get different areas of the fender buffed out with cutting polish. They had finished the work from their end. Wont go there again.
Toyota capital. On first go they didn't do a good job of the paint. I complained, the fender had no shine and visibly looked different from the rest of the car. They let me keep the car with the bad paint fender, got a new fender and painted that. This time the new fender had pinholes in paint. I complained, the paint staff made excuses but the higher up manager was extremely apologetic. They got another brand new fender, painted that and the third time was a charm. Even experienced people can't tell if the fender is painted. Senior manager had an eye for detail and understood issues with paint finishing. The whole dept. got involved because the same part had to be painted 3 times. Toyota GT is a 30 KM ride from my home and Toyota Rawal a 5KM ride. If I want to get paint work done i'll go to Toyota GT. For mechanical i'd go to Rawal and try to find their mechanical stuff guru who does test drives (don't remember the name).
