Want to replace compressor in santro,which one?

I want to replace my compressor of santro. i need advise about which one to go for and what would be the price. remember i am in Faisalabad.

New one from hyundai worth rs. 16700 with 2500 installation charges.

Kindly help me out to get it replaced in low budget or aprox 10,000.

go for sendek or senden (confused in the name) pistons mechanism compressor not the ones having rotary mechanism
Befor changing have a short survey in the market for info collection about the compressors n possibilities

u can go for a Sanden/ Success compressor. they are Singapore made if i remember correctly and work really well. They are used in most after market a/c's in Pakistan.

the price for the compressor will be around 8k. u will need to maybe alter some a/c pipes. the total job with new compressor gas charginga and pipes fiiting will ocst you around 10k. hope this helps.

is this sanden / success also called QABLI, by mechanic, as one of the mechanic told me that he will replace the compressor with qabli one and will keep the original one [which is creating weired sound] and will use the original brackets and pipes as come with santo and will charge 7000 to 7500, is this a good deal??

Qabli means 2nd hand.

And ya u can use Qabli if you want good cooling and ur keeping this car for atleast 2 or 3 years than get new compressor Senden.

508 Senden will cost around 12000 Rs and to fit this they have to do bit of alteration the advantage of this compressor is its cools very well even on low rpm disadvantage is it puts more load on engine than the original compressor.

personally i won't go for a Qabli compressor as there is no guarantee that it will work for a considerable time period. they usually last just 1 season and thats just it.
i got a sanden compressor in my margalla back in 2005 and still its cooling is like a brand new one.
so i think a new one is a better investment.
still if u want ti get a Qabli one then make sure that u get at least a 2 seasons warranty with it which is very hard.

its not necessary that the bracket will e changed. maybe the older one can be altered. just make sure that u go to an a/c mechanic who is experienced enough and is not a thug.

i han installed success compressor in my 89 swift it works awsome!!even the passengers sitting on rear seats get cool air,i got it f0r 7k from lahore and brackets for 500rs and it does nt put too muchload on theengine

Just go for orignal! New price of compressor is something around 17K!

You can get parts warranty for it! i can give you discounts coz i work in same company!

Get a Mitsubishi one, it will cost you around 11K for the compressor only I think... And make sure it is of piston technology not a rotary one.
