Want to travel north Pakistan

Hello Travel Gurus,

My name is Rika, i live in Indonesia.
I love travelling, but never go out travel of country. And i will choose Pakistan for my first country to visit. Why?

• I really want to see Aghan Valley, Babusar Top, Gilgit, Gahkuch, Gupis, Phander etc. So much more, i can't count.
  
  (Fresh air, snow mountain peaks, beautiful sceneries and lakes)
  

- The culture, foods, people. Seriously, i can't explain more.

And i have several questions before i go to Pakistan, here are the questions:

- If i want to go to the north Pakistan, from Jakarta Indonesia, which one i should take the airport? Islamabad or Lahore?

- And which season i should go ?

Pakistan is great option to explore
Food is great! People are warm and welcoming towards foreigners

The places you have mentioned above can be traveled and explored within 2-3 weeks .. even less!

to answer your questions:
I would suggest you to come in September via Islamabad next year! That month is ideal for northern pakistan .. the roads will be open, tourists would be less and you will be able to explore more freely
You can rent a car with an experienced driver from islamabad .. That will make your journey comfortable and it will be less of a hassle as compared to taking public transport!

You just need to come in start of June which will be beganing of Summer and please land in Islamabad as Islamabad or Islamabad Airport is the gate way to all your mentioned destinations.

Please share your emial ID I will share all the required details and you do not need to hire a car from here which will be very costly to you specially when are not in group.

Airport: Islamabad.
Season: September-October is best time to see true colors of Northern Beauties. But Snow mountains are available to see almost 12 months of year.

Few roads are blocked by heavy snow in December~April. Sometimes in May/June also.

May/June

if you can get 10 days to 2 weeks off .. that would be fine as well

and roads are blocked from december-june.. not december-april
