Want to upgrade Engine Performance of New Cultus-2017

Dear All,

I own Cultus 2017 new shape and I want to upgrade its engine performance and turn it into lil sporty type, what should I do? Further can I install turbo in it and where I can get it and for how much??? Any references, please share

Adding a turbo in a high compression engine is not easy...it's not like a game where you just click on it and Done.
Improving the performance of N/A is even more complex.
Everything depends upon ECU. And from factory it's hard coded. Now even an intake will not improve engine's power. ECU got fix air fuel ratio. It means installing bigger throttle body is also worthless at low revs but maybe you get a little gain in high revs. The only thing you can do without changing internals and ecu is to install aftermarket headers to get a little gain.

now a days i'm porting the 5afe head. but will use stock ecu.i'm not sure that ecu is going to support that or not. if it works well at high revs then i can recommend that. also already got bigger throttle body about 10mm bigger having issues at low revs. so basically if you got aftermarket ECU you can try anything with the engine and just get it tuned. but aftermarket ecu's are expensive.

First priority should be your brakes. Brakes matter almost as much as acceleration. Second should be tyres and wheels. You won't get much speed from a cultus as it was meant to be an economy car, but you can make it feel fast. Don't try any stupid intake systems or big air filters besides OEM. That can ruin your engine by making it run too lean. Don't mess with the exhaust system either. It can make uneven pressur differences in your car. The thing is that in Pakistan we don't have enough people that can tune and reprogram ECUs properly. My reccomendations would be too maintain your brakes and all your fluid levels, and make the car FEEL fast. Make the car yours by adding little things that make your ride more enjoyable ( sound system, infotainment screen, air freshener etc). Regularly wash and wax your car YOURSELF. No need to do any engine mods to an economy car. Adding a turbo would mean literally changing and upgrading engine internals, exhaust system, retuning ecu... Etc.

Your not going to get that much performance from a cultus unless you spend alot of money. By feel fast, i mean drive with a heavy foot but in a humanly manner. For example, to feel faster on my bike, i rev it high in low gears. That way, I'm having fun and I'm not going stupidly fast. Doing small things to your car makes it feel like you have a stronger connection with it. On my car, i have upgraded brakes and good tyres, also have done some interior mods. Exterior, nothing really. I play with the position of the air intake some times by slightly adjusting it, which makes it sort of louder.

P.S DON'T GO INTO THE WORLD OF RICE! Body kits and exhausts won't make it faster at all. Also, i hate when i see wings and spoilers on FRONT WHEEL DRIVE cars!
