Hello there,
I was just wondering why you want to buy a used car in Pakistan anyway?
In my opinion, as you have recently come from abroad, you should a good reliable brand new PKDM car here.
I owned a used Japanese small car myself, but it started giving me problems after one year. I did manage to sell it at a good price but it's servicing, tubing and spare parts were a problem.
I'm may find an excellent car dealer here, but such cars are built for the region from they've been imported from-we don't have proper maintenance facilities for cars other than corolla, civic, city, Swift, company imported accords and camrys .
Their air conditioning units may start giving problems and if God forbid you've a crash, parts are hard to source.
You may think Pakistani cars are not upto the mark, but they're not very bad either. They don't fall apart - yes, they might have that occasional squeaky sound coming from here and there but atleast you know that it undergoes proper maintenance using proper tools and the dealerships mechanics know what to do and what not to.
The final decision is up to you,
My advice is to wait a month for the new corolla to launch. It's pretty well specced.
See if it meets your criteria and buy it from a Toyota dealership. Otherwise buy a Civic if you're looking for a small hatchback, buy a swift.
I promise you won't have any problems for the next 7 years atleast.
