I wanted to buy Baleno 2005, kindly provide your expert feedback about this car along with Fuel consumption and spare parts availability/prices as well.

Please let me you what would be the price range for such model and also some other good cars in same price range.

Baleno is very very nice car fuel consumption is like cultus 12-13km/l

Spare aren't very expensive a bit more expensive than margalla (had both)

About budget it depends on city you are based

depends on ur need bro.mehran ki zarurat city mein buhat parti hai.
baleno achi ho to zarur laine chahye.fuel consumption on long i got is 17 km/litre

if a nice baleno is purchased it tottaly worths it as compared to xe corrola
a good baleno will be of 6 lacs for a 2005 model

Actually i always want a big and comfortable drive...mehran is too bumpy. My route is 30km daily in congested karachi, need ac all the time...

When baleno came in pakistan in first time i sat in a 1.6GTi. That car used to throw corolla miles behind in its time and had very good suspension and comfort, AC was also very good. Much better than our GL corolla 1999. After it Honda city 2000-2003 was most famous economy family sedan.

When baleno came in pakistan in first time i sat in a 1.6GTi. That car used to throw corolla miles behind in its time and had very good suspension and comfort, AC was also very good. Much better than our GL corolla 1999. After it Honda city 2000-2003 was most famous economy family sedan.

If you get one in good condition, 1.6 is very rare btw you'll mostly get 1.3 in suzuki most successful family sedan was suzuki margalla. Then baleno came but it couldn't match up robustness of margalla. Baleno is more economical to run and it was efi so got more attraction but ignition issues of baleno 1.3 2001-2005 made the car loose its worth gradually.

You mean the coil issues? Yes, 1.6 was manufactured in very limited number. Its near to impossible finding a good one..esp its alloys were a killer look!

Margalla used to be official car in its times, my mamu was GM Sngpl and he was given 1997 margalla. It was good car of its time than in 1999 baleno came and its was very refined car efi engine good suspension but wasn't successful at that time because even corolla at that time was 1.3L carby 2E easy for mechs, so baleno was way ahead and Honda was offering efi and vtecs since late 1995 in civics.

Margalla has one of most khota engine, i have my self came across a 350000km driven one without any engine repair, at this age most of the suzukis would have had head and block jobs. But after all it comes to how the car is kept.

Yeah people in pakistan just love to wash enjun and diesel on enjun chamak gya. Misfire and eventually coil kaput.

go for a baleno
in karachi a good 2005 will be of 5.25 maximum.its ac is too good.while in 1.5 years a never face any coil issue sice my engine bay is dirty.

brother its near about 2 years now.i am attaching pics of the condition of car.
at that time its ODO was 97k.
mechanical kaam bilkul nai nikalti dheet gari hai na engine ko kuch hta hai.
electrical thora sa complicated hai but a good electrition easily understands its nakhre
never go to jugaar baazi electrical system of this car.
and coils tab jalti hain jab pani jai ya mechanic ghalat tareqe se unko khainche bahar
