Salaam guys....
it was a lazy morning today so i decided to give my bike a wash...took me about an hour of hard work to remove al lthe dust that it catches on the roads of lahore everyday....felt like posting the cleaned up bike pics for u guys...

and yes, i found these two pics in my childhood's photo album....this is me standing with the same bike back in 1987 when i was 1.5 years old...

the bike was restored to its original specs about 6 months back. and i had made a thread back then to get advice regarding the work....it took about a month of hard work and this is what i got in the end...for those of u interested, herez the link to the restoration story

my father had this Yamaha 80 for over 20 years, it was hard for him to say good bye so instead of selling it he gave it to one of his friend...

wow. it reminded me of my Yamaha 100 78. we used it for 30 years. everything is great. but number plates do not go with look of the bike. in my opinion use black number plate. it will give bike same old look and will suit more.
